This Site

is where I want to keep everything organised. A place to show off my favourite works, update you on projects and store the information I dont know where else to keep.
I struggle with posting on social media because most of my creative process is interconnected with everything else I make. I tend to shy away from actually trying to share any of my stories or worldbuilding because I'm not sure how to explain without the context of everything else. I'm hoping to go further in depth into all of that in my character space! I can't promise it'll all make sense but I'm hoping it's at least entertaining?
On the side, I have a To-Do list of (unconfirmed) projects I'd like to do, a sneak peek at what I'm planning for the future. My Posts section will be for actual finished (or at least started) projects where I can show my progress and present the things I'm proudest of!
The portfolio is just for me to show my art. I don't really have anything else to say about it...

My favourite art mediums:
Digital art is my main medium. I use the app Procreate and a 15 dollar stylus on an ipad. I do prefere to draw traditionally but my physical disabilities and lack of space make setting up and making traditional art consistently very difficult. Digital art is great because the barrier of access is much lower and I'm able to draw even during high pain days. It also helps a lot because I am mildly red/green colourblind! This doesn't impact my daily life much (aside from being unable to see sunburns, I suppose?) but it makes mixing paints a hassle.
Acrylic markers I love them so much, I love how drawing with them feels, I love how they layer. I prefer Acrylic markers vs paint pens in most cases because the brush tip option does so much for me. I do appreciate a posca pen when I want to add colour to the background of my sketchbook though!
Pens I tend to draw with pens (or coloured pencil) because removing the ability to fully erase my mistakes has helped me with line confidence. I also despise when graphite smudges in my sketchbook and sealing the pages annoys me. Of course the second I'm waiting for the sealant to dry, I'm hit with all the creative inspiration.
Inks and watercolours I'm putting these in the same category because I use them the same way. I also put it directly into my multi media sketchbook who can NOT handle it. The pages are warped and thats just life...
Writing is one of my hobbies that I talk a lot about and don't share. I don't know how to tell if my writing is good and I'm terrified of showing it to people I know. My soul is in there and I do not wish to be perceived. I do, however, generally try to write every day and it is one of my favourite hobbies. I finished my first novel ish (it was meant to be a trilogy) length project at age 14 just to realise I had written 150k words of nonsense. I do want to revisit that story someday but I was so convinced it was good when I was writing it. I always wonder if I'll look back at my current work and feel the same? (the feelings being proud but also embarassed)
Worldbuilding is my true hobbu. Art and writing are fun but my favourite thing is to sit down and research things, write it into my incoherent google doc and no one else will ever know anything about it. It's a fun time!

Colours are complicated. Red and green are like? The same colour to me. I know colour theory says it's wrong and yet my brain says theyre the same. So my fav colours are red/green and dark blues.
Food is carne asada. Or mochi?
Movie is Finding Nemo. I don't really watch movies and this has been my comfort movie since I was a very small child.
Show is Avatar the Last Airbender. It is amazing ofc. Honourable mentions are: BBC Merlin, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Over the Garden Wall.
Animal is an impossible question to answer. I love sharks and fish, of course. Lizards are quite cool. I enjoy birds. Particularly pidgeons. Snails and beetles are interesting fellows.
The best season is obviously autumn and thus the best holiday is Halloween.
